Laura Wolf was the Chief Executive Officer at CASA of Travis County from September 2007 to July 2025. In this role, she ran a $7 million non-profit organization with 60 professional staff and nearly 600 volunteers annually serving nearly 1,000 children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

In her role at CASA of Travis County, Laura led numerous initiatives that were replicated in other CASA programs around the state and nation, including family finding and engagement programs and specialized advocacy for older youth. Among the innovations that Laura led was the first ever partnership between a CASA program and Praesidium, Inc. Under Laura’s leadership, CASA of Travis County became the only CASA program in the nation to become accredited by Praesidium for excellence in child abuse prevention practices. Laura also collaborated with Nancy Pollard to create a partnership between CASA of Travis County and Friends of the Children-Austin.

Additionally, Laura has served as President and as Treasurer of The Junior League of Austin and has received awards for her community service from the Girl Scouts of Central Texas, SafePlace, the Dispute Resolution Center, The Junior League of Austin, and the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault. She is a past participant in Leadership Austin and has served on Boards of Directors for the Austin Rape Crisis Center, the Center for Child Protection, Trinity Center, Con Mi MADRE, and Texas CASA.

Laura received her B.A. from Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts, and her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, Austin, Texas.
