BOARD: Jessica Weaver

Jessica Weaver has over 25 years of experience in nonprofit governance and management consulting. Her specialties include governance assessments and implementation, board and executive leadership development, strategic planning facilitation and management, leadership succession and transition planning, and customized training programs.

Jessica has a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of San Diego, a Masters of Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana U, and graduate certifications in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University & Nonprofit Board Consulting from BoardSource©.

Jessica is a current faculty member at The Fund Raising School, teaching philanthropy and fundraising strategies in board development, annual sustainability, developing major gifts and capital campaign management. In addition to serving on the board of Friends of the Children - Texas, she is part of the executive leadership on the Board of Governors of the Austin Community Foundation, and is the current Chair of the Board of Trustees at ZACH Theatre in Austin, Texas.
